We've been visiting Andorra every year since 2000 (so basically all this century so far!) which means we've been to this tiny country in the Pyrenees mountains
many, many times... First we discovered Andorra with friends and family, and since 2012 we been there every week with our private tour guests... many of whom became our new friends. On our day tours, ski trips, hiking days and on family vacations we've seen in Andorra in all weather and seasons - and we still love it.

We drive on the same mountain passes as legendary riders from the "Tour de France" and "Vuelta a España" road cycling races. We see almost everything in Andorra from medieval villages to ski slopes to the modern capital city Andorra la Vella, and we pay a visit to Andorra's incredible Sanctuary of Meritxell Basilica.

Below is a fun photo we took on a tour of cattle being herded in the Pyrenees down from their summer high mountain pastures to spend winter in the valleys below as part of the traditional Pyrenees "transhumance". It was a special moment; cows bells echoing gently, a rainbow to the left and the "cattle passing" sign on the right made this a great photo. We were a bit nervous that cow horns would scratch the van, but cows are considerate road users.
